A flatbed or platform container is used to ship extremely heavy and large cargo such as airplane parts, odd-shaped cargo, and heavy machinery.
ISO tanks are used to ship and store hazardous and non-hazardous materials such as liquids, powders, and gasses. They are made out of stainless steel, with insulation, as well as a protective layer of aluminum or polyurethane. This makes them a safe and secure option for transporting a wide variety of materials.
Open top containers have an open top covered by a tarpaulin instead of a solid roof, which enables oversized cargo such as timber and scrap metal to be loaded from the top. Open top containers normally also have end doors, like closed containers, to give flexibility for loading and unloading.
